A symposium on the problem, consequences and solutions to New Jersey's racially segregated schools, sponsored by the Urban League of Essex County and Building One New Jersey

The Urban League of Essex County and Building One New Jersey will hold a symposium on the issue of school segregation and educational equity in New Jersey on November 30, 2018 at Bloomfield College from 1PM to 4PM.

Please register here to participate in that conversation. Our goal is to have an honest and fact-based discussion about the deep levels of racial and economic segregation in our state and region and the real life implications for children, families and communities. We will also talk about the potential for meaningful ways to address this problem whether in the courts or through the legislature.

In addition, we want to build more effective and impactful advocates for, and participants in, local, state and federal/national educational reform focused on the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) to advance equity and excellence at scale.

Please register here to join us in this forum and to recive additional informaton on speakers and program.

Thank you
