Please join Building One America for an evening reception as we recognize the work of these outstanding labor, community and political leaders.
Congressman Charles W. Dent - Pennsylvania’s 15th District

The late Steve LaTourette, former Congressman from Ohio was the first to receive this award now given in his in honor for his extraordinary efforts to bring our country and its leaders together.
Clayola Brown, President - A. Philip Randolph Institute Clayola Brown is the National President of the A. Philip Randolph Institute. The first female to serve in that role, she is a lifelong labor activist, organizer and leader. As president of APRI, she has traveled the country, and world, reminding us of the essential role that black working men and women played in building the modern labor movement, the civil rights movement, and the American middle class - a message and history that resonates today. Building One America's 2017 Opportunity America Award
Eva J. Henry, Commissioner - Adams County, Colorado
A lifelong resident of Adams County and single working mother, Eva Henry started her career in politics in 2007 when she successfully ran for Thornton City Council. She served in that capacity until being elected Commissioner for Adams County District 1. In both roles, Eva represented a solidly middle-to working-class, increasingly-diverse, and very bipartisan district. During her time, she has been a tireless and effective champion for regional inclusion and social equity in housing, jobs, education and transportation. 2017 Building One America's 2017 Inclusionary America Award
Kenneth E. Rigmaiden, General President, International Union of Painters and Allied Trades
