School Segregation and Equity in New Jersey

A symposium on the problem, consequences and solutions to New Jersey's racially segregated schools

Sponsored by the Urban League of Essex County and Building One New Jersey.

Join the Urban League of Essex County, Building One New Jersey, along with Educators, Parents, Elected Officials, Faith Leaders and Civil Rights Experts for a timely conversation on the issue of school segregation and educational equity in New Jersey on November 30, 2018 at Bloomfield College from 1PM to 4PM.

Please register here to participate in that conversation.

Our goal is to have an honest and fact-based discussion about the deep levels of racial and economic segregation in our state and region and the real life implications for children, families and communities. We will also talk about the potential for meaningful ways to address this problem whether in the courts or through the legislature.
