White House Forum Powerpoints

On July 18, three national experts painted a picture of America's first suburbs and proposed some policy solutions. 

• john a. powell, Executive Director of the Kirwan Institute provided a look at the structural nature of the challenges and opportunities facing America's first suburbs. 
• Myron Orfield, Esq., Exective Director of the Institute for Race and Poverty, provided an overview of the demographics, trends and strengths of the first suburbs and why addressing the problems they are facing is crtical to strengthing the economic stregth, sustainability and inculsion of America's metropolitan regions.
• David Rusk of the Innovative Housing Institute and the Woodrow Wilson Center laid out a summary of BOA's federal agenda.
